I can say that I’m an ordinary person and I’m not interested in art. I know few artists and great paintings, for example, “Mona Lisa” or “Three heroes”. I’m not interested in architecture, design, drawing or painting. The only thing that connects me with art is a music. I really can’t live without it. I do not leave home if I forgot my earphones. All because when I’m listening to music I create a strong association with this song and I can’t then just do not listen to it. But also I can say that art plays an important role in people’s life. They earn money, they enjoy paintings, they calm down. Art it is a way to leave a mark in our history.
Hmm,I agree with Lera. I am not interested in art too. May be this is due to the fact that i am a child. But i can not stand visiting museums or other cultural institutions.So i can not say that art plays any role in my life. I just treat it as neutral.
Art is the highest level of perfection. People of all ages over the world understand the language of art better than their native languages. It helps express emotions, feelings and thoughts. What concerns me, art plays a great role in my life, but not the main. It's always on the background and never occupies the key position. I like watching films, including arthouse, listening to music, while relaxing after a long day, or visiting a gallery for my overall development. I can distinguish different painting styles and tell apart famous painters, but nothing special. That's why art for me is more than a word but less then lifestyle.
I would like to talk about the role of art in my life. If we are talking about fine art, it doesn’t mean anything to me. I can’t stand visiting museums and galleries. Maybe, because I’m interested in the exact sciences, such as chemistry and mathematics. However, art isn’t only pictures of landscape and portraits. I like seeing exciting movies, listening to good music and going to performances in the theater. Thus, from the art I dislike fine art. The rest is a part of my free time.
